Are “White Turks” being tricked by HDP?

Those who were following TV channels on Tuesday felt like they were living an election day. Especially the news channels got ready like it were an election day and they waited the entire day for the parties to announce their candidates. The election candidates were broadcasted on jumbo screens and they were taking the experts opinions.

What does this mean?

It means that the voting booth has now become the decision maker. This is a big revolution. The most valuable victory for Turkey's grueling road on democracy has been the public choosing the president after elections that have been done for the last 12 years on time and by protecting itself from interference. The backbone of the bureaucratic fascism of “You can choose whoever you like, they are goners, we are the landlords” has been broken and is fighting for its life. Yet, it is still hopeful that it can be revived.

After all this, every acquisition is the reason that even the political engineers changed its ways. Now we have “democratic” pro-coup people who take the elections more seriously. For that reason, they have put forth three different types of fiction to affect the elections and they began their election campaigns as of 2013.

It is so, they started a drive that would attempt to belittle AK Party and discredit its leader during the March 30th Local, August 10th Presidential and the June 7th General elections. They tried to push the youth who went to Gezi to say no to police brutality into a civil war. After that, this became quite clear after the parallel state was deciphered. During December 17/25, they took a golden shot with a coup that had the “corruption” silencer on it. Then came the contribution by HDP/KCK. On October 6-8, 52 of our citizens were murdered. Just then, they said, "If not the PKK, then there is DHKP-C”.

That didn't work… A hand came out of the ballot box. The sound of a compassionate, healing Ottoman slap was heard. They lost both elections.

Now, their final hopes are to trip AK Party or if anything to weaken them on June 7. It is not as if they don't have the right. Plus, this could be their last chance because they know that, before the reforms are institutionalized, they can bring back all of their moves in the past 12 years with one terrifying period by becoming the ruling power; and they are right…

That is why it is quite rational for them to gather votes for DHKP should they join the elections, rather than forming an alliance that they are uncomfortable with. An election preparation without principle, without the public can only be done in this manner. By trying to fool the public with upper structures, they have no other address or no other path that they can take in this election strategy.

So why aren't they going to the public? Even when you put aside AK Party's fortified votes, there is still a wide public audience left. We are in the 13th year of the public coup d'état. That isn't a long time. With good preparation, CHP could have started a movement in half this time. Why did they stoop to a point where they have become a toy for the parallel state?

Yes, if CHP went to the public and assisted in their demands, they could have started a serious movement; however that movement would not have been the type that the superior minds would have wanted. CHP would not have stayed as a party of bureaucracy; the assistance role would have “normalized” them. For this reason, CHP chose to lie to its own base. They invested in not the base's mind, but in their fear, in their bias and their open anger nerves. With this, an “abusive” relationship between CHP and its candidate formed. I am sure a lot of candidates in CHP see this, but this will become clearer when the light of simulation made by CHP and their media is turned off.

So what is HDP trying to do?

When there is no need, it seems that HDP, led by Demirtaş, has likened the instrumental/beneficiary tactic of CHP. There must be an unbearable tension with calling their election “New Turkey,” while calling the east “old Turkey”. While asking for votes form the Kurdish in the west, they had inflicted pain on the Kurds in the east for tens of year. There must be an explanation as to why you are walking arm in arm with people who institutionalized Kurdish denial and will end the Reconciliation Process the first chance they get.

For that reason, an idea comes to my mind. Is Demirtaş trying to hit two birds with one stone by taking the easy way out by playing the Erdoğan/AK Party enmity? They would get the support of the high white Turks, socialists; the cutting educated people and then wink at the candidate that drives them crazy. So are they in actuality putting these people to sleep? When you factor the parallel state and external wings into this, it is a hard chance they can compete with the likes of HDP and AK Party. I would not want to believe that Demirtaş, who is the villain of the Kurdish issue, could stand side by side with these people he is essentially fooling. However, we are talking about a person who called the people to the streets on October 6-8, I would expect a surprise like this from him.

It is not possible for HDP who will enter parliament to stray away from Öcalan's vision, even if they wanted to. Öcalan's vision is clear cut… In this situation, there is a high chance that they could invest the votes that they borrowed from White Turks into a new management system and constitution. In this case, it will be very interesting to see the look on the faces of the old Turkey alliance.

If Demirtaş is truly sincere, they he will have a lot of explaining to do as to why he took the peace project hostage and its inseparable piece “New Turkey” for three or four votes.

The final word is going to be from the public. That is the most relieving part about all of this.
