We are entering a critical period in the Resolution Process.

The Road Map will be implemented within the compass of a calendar.

To a certain extent, Kobane had re-formatted this process.

Thus, from now on we have to observe the process as “before Kobane” and “after Kobane”.

There are many things imposed on us by Kobane. It taught us to get a move on and speed up the process.

Because the process is face to face with two quite strong threats.

The USA, which had returned to the region by using ISIL as an excuse, appears at the top of that list.

Before we used to formulate this as a Syria conjuncture.

However, that has been left behind. The war against ISIL had created new relation models. The war against ISIL had brought the USA back to the region.

The USA that had wrapped Öcalan and delivered him to us, is no more. On the contrary, there is a USA that persists on taking place in the process as a “Third Eye”.

Over ISIL, a different relation model had developed between the USA, Kurds and Assad. This situation is forming one of the most important threats against the resolution.

As for the second threat, it’s the power that possesses the gun in its hand: in other words, Qandil…

The Resolution was amounting to Qandil’s liquidation.  This situation was forming a resistance in the  beginnings of the resolution.

However, the recent resistance is not the same.

We had already passed to a more advanced phase.

The relations Qandil had formed with the USA via Kobane, is forming the most important threatening point from the viewpoint of the future of the process.

We want to solve a scorching issue like the Kurdish issue in the dynamic Middle Eastern geographical position. The “loss of time” factor always comes back with a heavier price for everyone to pay.

There is also the glass’ full side.

Despite the October 6-8 incidents, everyone that opens their mouth had made the emphasis that the Resolution Process is indispensable. On top of that, this had left behind a, “We need to prepare the public for the resolution” worry.

The public is ready for the resolution.

What should be done next is; a swift improvement of the mechanisms.

The government preserves their insistence on two matters.

The government is also caring for the provision of the public authority so that the Resolution Process can advance on a secure platform. We already know how much blood loss the October 6-8 incidents had caused.

Of course, meanwhile, one of the weak points of the process had been formed after failing in diversifying the solution table. Any resolution will be made with the one holding a gun. That is correct. However, if only the table could be diversified even if a little. If only the different colors of the Kurdish neighborhood had taken their place in the table. In that way, the picture wouldn’t have been showing an organization on one side and the government on the other side of the table; but the work would have been conducted on a table that consists of a couple hinges, rather than a two-legged table.

PKK had rendered HÜDA-PAR as the invisible actor of these phase following their attitude during the October 6-8 incidents. HÜDA-PAR is not on the table; however, their spirit is flying over the Kurdish neighborhood. Their breath can be felt in the back of the Resolution Process’ neck. After recording these down, I want to move on to the dates regarding the Resolution Process.

February and March 2015 will be witnessing historical developments in the sense of resolution.

Of course, if the USA-Qandil alliance doesn’t sabotage the process.

Because as we are coming closer to the resolution, sabotages directed at the process had already started to increase. Because of this reason, I wanted to write down this record.

According to the “Road Map”, in which Öcalan had come to terms, in February 2015 the congress of the PKK will gather and take the “Stopping the armed struggle in Turkish lands” decision. This will be a crucial meeting. The organization, which had climbed up to the mountains for the armed struggle and could remain standing in the Middle East geography with an armed struggle against a strong country like Turkey, will be disputing on disarmament for the first time in their history.

Do not underestimate the PKK.

Since the time the PKK had been established, the Republic of Turkey had changed 10 Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, 20 governments and 6 Presidents. As for the personnel that had established the PKK, Qandil and their leaders are still alive. In a geographical area like the Middle East, they had been successful in developing relations with Iraq, Syria, Iran, Israel, Great Britain, Germany and USA.

Despite two Gulf wars, and the civil wars in Iraq and Syria, they remained standing and thrived.

Pay attention: I’m saying “in the Turkish lands”. Because, it is not realistic to ask Qandil to stop their armed struggle in a “civil war” period, where ISIL is moving towards Arbil and Mahmur gate in Iraq, and attacking Kobane in Syria.

Ankara is aware of this.

Because of this reason, PKK’s declaration of leaving the armed struggle in Turkey and disestablishing themselves is on the agenda.

The Resolution Process had been announced with Öcalan’s letter during the Nevruz ceremonies at the Diyarbakır square on March 21, 2013.

Two years later, in March 21, 2015, during Nevruz ceremonies at the Diyarbakır square, the announcement of the armed struggle being stopped in Turkey and the political struggle will be maintained.

It will be a historical process. As it had been in the Nevruz 2013, I also want to be at the Nevruz square in 2015 and witness this historic moment.

As a person, who had watched the bloody Nevruz incidents in the 90s and shed tears at the martyr funerals, this is my dream.

I hope it will not be a dream, and I can witness this while I’m alive.

By the way, between the dates of November 17 and March 21, 2015, some important steps will be taken in Ankara.

The “Third eye” or “Monitoring Committees” will be established from the Wisemen Committee. In the name of normalization, judicial and institutional structuring will be done. İmralı’s conditions will be amended. Inmates will be changed, and a secretariat will be established. The committee, which is going to İmralı, will be expanded.

Next to the big picture, in other words, during the process of establishing the historic Turkish and Kurdish alliance, we shouldn’t be regarding these things being done for Öcalan as a compromise.

What’s important is focusing on the big picture.
